Apparently, having a baby isn't enough of an occasion anymore. Now we have push presents. If you've never heard the term, a push present (or push gift) is a gift given to a new mother, usually by her partner, to celebrate the birth of their baby. And listen, I'm all for celebrating new moms. Give her flowers, jewelry, a thoughtful keepsake, or whatever makes her happy. But can we talk about that name for a second? Push present? Really? Not every mom pushes. Not every birth goes according to plan. And I'm not sure when giving birth became something that needed…
