I have gone through a few different kinds of spoons for my kids.

After not liking the results of some of my previous purchases, I got this assorted set and a spoon set first, thinking maybe this wouldn’t be a great option for a first time user but for down the road.

I think because I was still experimenting and finding the right utensils for my son it took him a little while to get the hang of it and I was scared of him forking himself in the eye so I probably didn’t fully allow him to learn- that’s on me.

After a little while though, he got to using these perfectly and I ended up buying a bunch more so I didn’t have to hand wash them all the time since they can go in the dishwasher.

Now that my daughter is starting to want to use utensils on her own and sees her brother using these, I let her try, and she loves them!

Spoons are obviously pretty tricky, but depending on what food you give them some of it will end up on her ezpz mat or her oxo bib pocket.

The handle is perfect for those toddler hands and the metal of the forks actually allows you to grab food, unlike some plastic ones I regretted buying.

And probably one of the best parts is that, when rested on the table, the metal of the utensils don’t get your surface dirty.
